Frequently Asked Questions
- How is this different from karaoke?
- It’s the opposite of karaoke! No one is handed a live mic, and there are no soloists. We all sing together!
- What if I can’t remember the words to the song?
- We have special lyric videos created exclusively for our events! So you will be able to see all the words and follow along with them in real time.
- Are all ages welcome?
- Our events are geared toward the over-40 crowd, but if you love to sing out loud you are welcome!
- Can we request a song?
- Unfortunately, no. We curate all our song lists and create our lyric videos in advance. But we are always open to collaborating for future events, and if you want to pitch a song you love, email us at sing@gottasingevents.com!
- Will food and drink be available at the event?
- Most of our public events are held at restaurants, bars, or clubs that serve food and drink. It’s hard to sing with your mouth full, so we recommend arriving an hour or so before show time!
